Can the Title of an Essay Be a Question?

Can the Title of an Essay Be a Question? You've written a long, well thought out essay and now you are wondering if the title of your essay can be a question. Is it?As I was studying this subject, it was rather easy to spot that the title of the original essay could have been a question. We've been in this exact same situation at one point or another. Have you?Did you think to yourself, 'Hey, that is a little weird, and even I know that it's a question,' and then work on to your main idea? I often thought about that during those times when my writing was just a bit too academic for me. But then I remember that I do consider myself a serious writer, so why would I want to throw the title of my essay out there as a question? The answer, of course, is because my title is indeed a question. As in, it raises a question within itself, one that I want to know how to answer. (I've written a lot of essays, and often this is how I begin each one.)Here's the really cool thing: the title of an ess ay, whether it is a topic essay thesis, or anything else, is a question. It asks you a question, or rather, it should ask you a question. But it should also give you some clues as to where to go with your argument. So how do you choose a title that will set off the main theme of your essay? You must begin by having an idea of what you want to say in your essay. What are you trying to say? Are you trying to express some opinion about the world or society in general? Are you trying to explain something very specific that has happened in your life? Maybe you're simply interested in the essence of what you have to say?Once you have decided on the main theme of your essay, what can you use to make the title more interesting? This is where I realized that my essay could be a question. It is not only the title that I am interested in answering, but the question that comes next that is most important. In other words, your essay can be a question, and it can be a great question, with a lot of answers.
